Europe and UEFA will be quite fine without FIFA. They already stage some of the most lucrative tournaments on the planet. They don't need a dime from that greedy, corporate, ass-kissing abomination called Gianni Infantino.

I'm sure he will use his $40 million-per-country bribe-in-disguise to get all the poorer federations on board with his plans, but good luck with a World Cup without the majority of the best footballing nations on the planet. Better yet, good luck with your new Club World Cup without the best clubs on the planet.

Have fun with your hydration breaks, four quarters, 30-minute halftime shows and Trump/Kushner backing and interference in the game.

Did He Learn Nothing From the Super League?

Infantino has his head so far up the ass of the one percent that he doesn't realise how much reverence millions of fans have for the game of football, and the revulsion they have for the money that is ruining it. Was he paying attention when a bunch of elite clubs tried to create their own Super League? Did he not see how quickly it was shot down by UEFA and the fans?

I hope he doubles down, sticks to his guns and that it causes the whole global football network to crash. Because it is so corrupt at the moment that it desperately needs a complete do-over. I personally won't mind if we end up with more than one 'World Cup' tournament competing with each other. I'll watch any one of them that isn't aligned with Gianni Infantino.
